You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and manage a team.

Parents/guardians may access certain limited features (e.g., availability updates) where invited by a team manager.

By uploading personal data relating to a minor (such as a player profile, contact details, medical notes, or images), you confirm that you have obtained all necessary permissions from the child’s parent/guardian.

Team Manager is a platform that provides tools for managing teams, players, fixtures, matches, communication, and administrative tasks. The Service may be modified, updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

4. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Be responsible for all actions taken through your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You may not share your login details with anyone else.

5. Data Protection & GDPR

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5.1 Roles under GDPR

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws:

• You (team managers, coaches, clubs) are the Data Controller for the personal data you upload (e.g. player information, child data, match data).
• We act as the Data Processor, processing that data on your behalf.

You are responsible for:

• Obtaining consent from parents/guardians when processing children’s data
• Ensuring the data you upload is lawful, accurate, and necessary
• Complying with all relevant data protection laws

We process data only as needed to provide the Service.

5.2 Children’s Data

You must ensure that no personal data of a minor is uploaded without the consent of a parent/guardian.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or violates others’ rights
• Upload images or personal data of minors without proper consent
• Upload sensitive data (e.g. medical information) unless strictly necessary and lawful
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription.

10. Service Availability & Backups

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access
• Error-free operation
• Data recovery or backup availability
• That notifications, emails, or scheduling features will be delivered reliably

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Unlawful use
• Payment issues
• Any reason where deemed necessary to protect the platform or users

You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Team Manager from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your upload or handling of personal data
• Your breach of data protection laws

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the Service will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted
• The accuracy of generated content (e.g., AI match reports, statistics)
• That data will not be lost or corrupted

You use the Service at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Manager shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data
• Any claim exceeding the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
